As of March, all colonies are flying and so alive, which is a good thing! 😀 The winter was quite mild and even the smaller colonies are alive which makes for a happy beekeeper! (Small colonies can struggle to keep warm over long cold periods). Crocuses are flowering and hedgerows are now white with Prunus (native plums) flowers. It really feels like spring in on the way.
