Diluting honey with water

Despite what you read in the 'papers, beekeeping is thriving in the UK, although wild colony numbers have been severely depleted due to disease. The reason why the number of hived bees has grown is partly because more people have taken up the craft in recent years and also because we are able to manage disease better. For the moment at least.

The site contains general information about:-

  • Bees and beekeeping in general
  • Honey production
  • Queen Rearing.
  • Swarm collection

There is also information specifically for beekeepers in the Beekeepers' Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. This contains some advice on often asked specific topics of beekeeping practice and will be expanded as time allows.

If you click on most of the pictures, they expand to a larger size. We hope you enjoy our website. If you have any questions, get in touch!
