We are Beekeepers located in East Norfolk on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

Despite what you read in the 'papers, beekeeping is thriving in the UK, although wild colony numbers have been severely depleted due to disease. The reason why the number of hived bees has grown is partly because more people have taken up the craft in recent years and also because we are able to manage disease better. For the moment at least.

We sell:-

  • Honey.
  • Nucleus Colonies of bees.
  • Local Queens - not imported.

The site contains general information about:-

  • Bees and beekeeping in general.
  • Honey production .
  • Queen Rearing.
  • Swarm collection.

There is also information specifically for beekeepers in the Beekeepers' Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. This contains some advice on often asked specific topics of beekeeping practice and will be expanded as time allows.

If you click on many of the pictures, they expand to a larger size. We hope you enjoy our website. If you have any questions, get in touch!

We are working on a new format for the website which will be available at some time during 2020. It's fair to say that we are more comfortable dealing with bees that websites so we are not sure when the changes will happen!
